Field and Stream
The Field and Stream Ministry is for those who have a love and passion for the outdoors. If you enjoy activities like fishing, hiking, shooting, archery, hunting, camping, canoeing, etc, this might be a great ministry for you. Our goal is to host activities and events in the outdoor arena that will provide great opportunities for family, friendship, and outreach. While we have not finalized our plans for 2008 yet, some of the events we have discussed are: Fishing Tournament, Parent/Child Fishing Day, Camping and Canoe Trip, Hiking Days, Archery Shoot, Skeet Shoot, Hunting Trips, Wild Game Dinner, Outdoor Training Expo, and much more. If you are interested in participating in these types of activities, then consider joining the Field and Stream Ministry.

Update, March 14th, 2008. We had a great inaugural meeting on Sunday, March 9th. There were 35 in attendance who expressed interest in being a part of this exciting new ministry. I know there are others who are interested as well, but were not able to attend. At the meeting, we decided we were going to focus our attention on hosting activities and events in the following areas: Fishing, Hunting, Archery, Shooting, Camping, Canoeing, Hiking, Picnicking, Horseback Riding, and Snow Skiing. In the upcoming weeks we will be announcing who will be serving as the Coordinators of the Commitees in each of these areas. We will also be announcing specific events in the near future.
